WORLD HOMELESS DAY CAMPAIGN - Calgary Homeless Foundation
I Heart Home is a collective of communications individuals from across the homeless-serving sector in Calgary. There is often misunderstanding around the causes and demographics of individuals experiencing homelessness. Spearheaded by the team at Calgary Homeless Foundation, with participation from nine agencies, this campaign aimed to raise awareness about the demographics, statistics, and successes across the sector. A toolkit, custom video frame, and set of social media graphics were created for participating agencies to share in the week leading up to World Homeless Day on October 9. This campaign trended on X for the majority of the day and reached over 3,000 people in Calgary.
